Since 2019, Victor Everhardt has been deputy mayor of Amsterdam, where he is responsible for finance, economic affairs, Schiphol, harbour, Zuidas, municipal holdings and Marineterrein.
Prior to becoming deputy mayor of Amsterdam, Mr Everhardt was deputy mayor of Utrecht (2010-2019). He was responsible for, among other things, public health, youth, work and income, environment and real estate. He was chair of the Trimbos Institute Youth Centre (2006-2010) and held several policy positions at Dutch ministries.
He holds degrees in law and history from Utrecht University.
